The Experimental Scent Summit is an ongoing program curated by the Institute for Art and Olfaction (Saskia Wilson-Brown) in LA and the Smell Lab (Klara Ravat) in Berlin, as an ancillary event to the annual Art and Olfaction Awards.

ESS takes the form of informal talks, roundtables, and workshops relating to experimental practices with scent. A relaxed and conversational meeting of olfactory artists, perfumers, culture theorists, writers and more, the summit is an environment where participants can share their work and discussed their issues in an open and unrestrained environment.
